About
My name is Chris Forsyth and along with my wife, I started CM Services in 2008 as a contractor.
I started out at USA Direct a well known mail shop in 1990 as a machine operator with 4 months to go until my high school graduation. I ran a Bowe cutter and Baum folder for my first couple of months. I became very familiar with the bindery department equipment very quickly and was promoted to a bindery mechanic. After several years in the bindery department I was then transferred to the inserting department, where I was crossed trained to learn inserters and match mail. For about 15 years with USA Direct I gained a vast knowledge of bindery, inserting, and match mail equipment.
A little over my 15th year at USA Direct a great opportunity came about with MCS, a well known mail equipment vendor. I started with MCS in 2004 and throughout the four years with MCS I gained an extreme amount of knowledge with inkjets, camera systems and various other industry mail equipment. I have installed machines varying from standalone inkjets, camera match systems on flowmaster inserters, swing arm inserters and read and print on stitchers and many more.
We continue to work closely with MCS and provide service, parts, sales and training for MCS mail equipment and various other mail equipment.
